6th Baron – Ralph de Camoys serves in the king’s army in Ireland. Ralph joins the rebel barons against King John. He serves as High Sheriff of Surrey and Sussex.
7th Baron – Ralph II de Camoys is summoned by the Earl of Leicester to London as one of the Council of State that govern England.
9th Baron – Ralph III de Camoys is knighted with Prince Edward. He attends the coronation of King Edward II as part of the train of the King and Queen. He fights at the Battle of Bannockburn and is captured. Later he is appointed Governor of Windsor Castle and Warden of Windsor forest. He is appointed a Knight of the Shire for Sussex and to attend the Great Council of the Magnates at Westminster. He is appointed on of the Commanders of the seashore of Kent, Surrey and Sussex, then Constableship of Dover castle and Warden of the Cinque Ports (South East England).
11th Baron – Thomas de Camoys is given responsibility for escorting King Henry’s bride, Princess Joan, from Brittany to England. He commands the left wing at the Battle of Agincourt and made a Knight of the Garter
