1st Baron – Guy de Craon (or Wido de Credon) who accompanied William the Conqueror for the conquest of England.

2nd Baron – Alan de Craon is Seneschal (steward) of the Royal Mansion and admitted to all of the King’s councils.

5th Baron – Oliver de Vaux (by the right of his wife Petronilla) joins with the rebel barons and attends both of the meetings of the barons at Stamford and Brackley.  Oliver fights with King Henry’s army in the invasion of Poitou, France.
